The Project

“Dream Up & Fly High — We Can Touch the Sky” brought fresh energy to the brand’s narrative, inviting audiences to dream bigger, reach higher, and embrace adventure. The visual heart of the campaign was a custom-designed hot air balloon — created especially for this project — symbolizing the idea that limits exist only in our imagination.

Following the successful introduction of Lulu Bear in the previous winter, this season welcomed Ollie Bear, Lulu’s best friend, expanding the brand’s character universe and deepening its emotional storytelling. The campaign encouraged the audience to float beyond the everyday, embrace freedom, and explore new horizons — all wrapped in the cozy, inviting world of the Winter 2023 collection.

The Challenges

Designing the campaign’s hot air balloon was both a creative and technical challenge. Each star was placed individually to form the celestial path that represents Lua Luá’s identity, a process that demanded precision, patience, and a deep attention to detail.

Filming and shooting nearly a thousand meters above the ground brought another layer of complexity. Coordinating models and capturing authentic movement while ensuring safety required calm direction and adaptability.Nature added its own twist with strong desert winds that made shooting swimwear and loungewear particularly complex. Through quick adjustments in timing, camera angles, and styling tricks, we captured the essence of the campaign — spontaneous, sun-soaked, and free.

What began as a technical challenge became a lesson in perspective on how creativity truly takes flight when we dare to rise above limits.
